The cattle yards are solid timber, with an undercover vet crush and scales. The yards have lane ways to twelve pens which have feed bunks.
There is another set of timber yards that would require some work, but are useable.
The property currently runs 170 breeders and heifers with no feeding. Owners have run 200+ cows & progeny to slaughter weight, plus bulls for stud sales, with use of silage grown on farm.
The piggery is licenced 4000 SCU which is currently not in use but is being renovated to lease. Rental income opportunities can be discussed. Other improvements include a 2000 tonne silage capacity pits, 1500 tonne grain storage (which can be leased) and a mixing shed/hammer mill. There is also a large machinery shed (12mx28m) and two hay sheds and other barns and machinery sheds.
The country ranges from quality red volcanic soils to granite forest soils. Approximately 1000 acres is cleared, with the rest being selectively cleared ironbark country. There is approximately 500 acres of timbered forest country. There are areas of millable timber, and parts of the cleared country is contoured and has been previously farmed. The pastures include panic, Rhodes, buffel, blue grass and native species.
There are 20 dams with most being good sized dams - the largest being approximately 40meg. There are more potential sites.
The timbered country is fenced for goats – electric & netting. The rest is older stockproof – 4 barb timber post. It is fenced into approximately ten paddocks.
