JAK PRODUCTION SALE 6/09/2022
The inaugural JAK Production Sale was a great success with the sale offering South Devon Bulls and females, quality show steers and future show calves. Buyers and vendors gathered at Bell Showgrounds to show their support on the day.
26 bulls were offered with 20 selling at an average of $8350, top bull from lot 4 Jambili Radradra from Jambili South Devon Stud, weighed in at 964kg, sold for $20,000 to John Burnett from Burnett Enterprises, who also purchased the second top telling bull, lot 5 Kildare Rio Grand from Kildare South Devon Stud, weighing at 930kg sold for $16,000.
All 4 show heifers sold at an average of $1550 with top selling female at $1700, 4 show steers sold to an average of $1808 with top steer selling for $2100, and 3 calves sold for an average of, and topped $1500.
Sale was hosted by 3 studs, Jambili Soith Devon Stud, from Jandowae QLD, Athlone South Devon Stud, from Carmila QLD, and Kildare South Devon Stud, from Upper Horton NSW.
Sale was conducted by Aussie Land & Livestock with agent Corey Evans auctioneering the event, AuctionsPlus held the event online with 19 registered bidders.
